Who is Team Ashman?
I’m Jay, and I have been a trainer and nutritionist for over 20 years. I have been there and done that in this business and sports, having played Super League rugby, competed in Powerlifting, Strongman, CrossFit, and BJJ. I also know what it’s like having to rebuild myself after injury, apathy, and medical issues.
My journey was filled with hills and valleys. Hills such as qualifying for the National Rugby Playoffs with my team, and valleys such as recovering from heart failure at the age of 41. Hills such as being in phenomenal shape as an athlete, and valleys, such as stepping on the scale at 320 pounds, wondering how I got there.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a competitor, a fitness enthusiast, or someone just starting (or returning), there is a place for you with Team Ashman.
Being the best person you can be is being the best person for your life.
Now I utilize my experience, education, and knowledge to help other people reclaim their lives through proper training, healthy eating habits, and a mindset geared towards creating a sustainable lifestyle that aligns with their hectic lives.
